Named Best Pastry Chef in the World in 2023, becoming the first woman to receive this honor, Nina Métayer was destined to open her bakery in Mexico. After a student exchange program in Mexico, she decided to train in baking and pastry with the goal of sharing French expertise internationally. Following her studies, she moved to Melbourne, Australia, to work in the field before returning to France to train in pastry at the Ferrandi school. Having worked at prestigious French establishments such as Le Meurice, Hôtel Raphaël, and Le Grand Restaurant, she opened her bakery, Délicatisserie, in 2020. Today, she has locations in France and Shanghai.
