Description
Stéphane Forman is a Doctor in Veterinary Medicine and a specialist in the Agriculture sector. He has over twenty years of international experience (Asia, Africa, Pacific, Middle-East, Carribeans) in the fields of sustainable, rural and agricultural development. A graduate in veterinary sciences from the National Veterinary School of Alfort (ENVA) in France, he worked within international organizations, notably the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) then the World Bank, which he joined in 2008. Specializing in the development of dry agro-pastoral areas, he has acquired specific skills in the following areas: agricultural project management, agro-business, livestock and animal health, food security and safety. He joined the French Agency for AlUla Development (AFALULA) in August 2019 as Director of the Agriculture & Biodiversity Division, then Chief - Territorial Development Department, where his mission consists of, among others, advising the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) in the sustainable development (environmental and socio-economic) of a premium agricultural sector in the AlUla oasis and its linkage with tourism, hospitality, culture and gastronomy.
